I installed the U7-PRO-XG as part of a UniFi home network upgrade and the performance has been outstanding.

Setup through the UniFi controller was quick and painless, and once adopted it just quietly gets on with the job.The speeds have been seriously impressive. On Wi-Fi 7 devices I’m seeing up to around 1.9 Gbps over wireless, which is honestly wild considering this is Wi-Fi and not a wired connection. Coverage is excellent and it handles a house full of devices without any noticeable slowdown. Build quality is exactly what you’d expect from Ubiquiti — solid, clean design, and it looks great mounted on the ceiling.

The 10Gb uplink also means it actually has the backhaul to keep up with modern fibre connections.As someone who runs a bit of a homelab, it’s nice having an access point that doesn’t feel like the weak link in the network. My servers, NAS and everything else finally have Wi-Fi that can keep up. If you're already in the UniFi ecosystem or want top-tier wireless performance, this is an easy five stars. My only problem now is explaining to friends why my Wi-Fi is faster than their ethernet.
